looking forward and backward....all in one post!!!

I was pretty successful in my primary class yesterday. It was like magic--if someone asked an irrelevant or disruptive question I would quickly dismiss it and quickly move on, and it worked soo well! Anyway, I am slowly but surely learning how to deal with this particular class. Kind of funny--they asked me to teach the same age group next year. I was like, you mean I don't get to graduate from primary too???? I feel so cheated!! Maybe we'll move though.

Moving depends on if I get this job I just interviewed for in Sugarland. Not the best place for a non-sugar-eater to live--my fruit-eating self would personally rather live in Pearland, also a city near Houston. But if I get a job in Sugarland, then Sugarland it is. If I get this job I would be a clinical dietitian at a small, yet rapidly expanding, hospital.

I absolutely enjoy my current life-situation, but here are a few things that I am looking forward to:
  • Family reunion at SoPadre
  • Going back to San Antonio--and staying for more than a day! :-)
  • Achieving rock-star status on the dance floor and competing (heheh, like either of those things will ever happen)
  • Renouncing lindy hop and becoming avidly involved in a Saturday late night card-making club
  • Patriotic band concert for a local church
  • Getting old, er, turning 23.
  • Going to Austin...and Dallas...one day....not sure when....but it will be cool when it happens
  • Working full time as a Registered, Licensed Dietitian

What's this about renouncing lindy hop? Surely I misread something!
Oh, and 23 is NOT old! Fear not.
