I'm glad February 29th will not happen again for a few years

The day started after 3 hours of sleep. I had stayed up late the night before working on a presentation after coming home from band practice. I woke up at 4 to finish my presentation. I realized that I need five current references for my case study. Long story short, I was just barely ready for my case study presentation at 10am. Now I know that giving a presentation after sleeping only 3 hours will not go over well. The rest of the day went about as good as the presentation. I was tired, I tried to put on a happy-untired face to see patients, but it was quite the stretch. The weekend was kind of a blur, and hopefully by tomorrow morning I will be mostly caught up on sleep. Anyway, this is why I am glad February 29th won't happen for a few more years.

On a more happy note, I am still living. I am almost an RD (6 weeks and counting until I finish my internship). Dave got me roses Friday because he knew I was having a rough day. I have gotten to practice flute more because I am playing in a bunch of different things. My primary class went well today. So, there! Life is good! It's just February 29th that is not good, and that hardly ever happens.

Lol- that's cute about the 29th. Poor Meredith. It's a day that happens so infrequently that you'll always remember what you did on that day.

I didn't realize how close you were to being an RD. Congrats! Exciting!

Oh, Meredith. We are in the same boat so often! Just keep plugging along.
You should plan a celebration for the day you become an RD. Better yet, have somebody plan it for you. :)

Hi Meredith, I hope this week is going better. It is entertaining to read about it though, and maybe someday you'll think it was entertaining too. You're doing so well to keep at it! I'm looking forward to hearing about your concert tomorrow night. I wish I could HEAR it instead of hearing about it. One of these days, I'll come to Texas and plan to go to your concert. Hey, did you vote? Is that off limits for a blog? It's hard to vote when you didn't get the chance to vote for the most qualified, capable and intelligent candidate...but I guess staying with the party will be better than the alternative.
Love you,
Mom
