I am now back in Texas. California was fun and very pretty. The top picture is from the Beach house with Santa Cruz Island in the distance. The water was nice and blue. The next picture is my two good friends Lizzy and Bria (hopefully you don't mind me posting your picture) on a nature-made seesaw. Some highlights of the trip: I got to play some the Doppler flute duet with Lizzy, I went ocean kayaking, I went to Bria's Grandparents' for a family dinner, I watched Meet the Robinson's, my cousins and Northwest Grandparents came to visit. I to to visit with my Ventura Grandparents, my Grandma took all the ladies to lunch, I got my hair cut and donated it to Locks of Love.

I experienced Whole Foods Market today. It was nice, but Trader Joe's is better. Trader Joe's: Please Come To Houston!!!!
Poor Dave has been experiencing just about the worst business trip imaginable. He missed his connecting flight, had to take two more flights to get to his destination, the airline lost his luggage, and he ended up having to stay for another day, leaving him on a business trip New Year's Eve and Day. Not fun for either of us. I'm watching Shall We Dance now. Happy New Year!!

Nice hair, Meredith! Next time you visit we will have to play the Doppler with the piano as well. Come back to CA again sometime soon!

Meredith, your hair looks adorable!!! I love the new cut! And good for you for donating to locks of love. Mine would never grow long enough to donate it. I don't know why, it just stops growing after a while. Anyway, I'm glad to read that you are doing well. Love, Pam
