This week has been busy!! Yay! I went to a self-defense against assault class, which was good. I am going to two more next week--now I will know what to do if a bad guy comes along. But I will say that I am already quite cautious, so the difference is now I have moves. :-)

I went to a "kids cafe" grand opening at a boys and girls club yesterday. I held a lot of balloons and learned how to schmooze with nutritional big-wigs. I have 6 different presentations next week, so they are keeping me busy. Some for adults, some for kids, one for High School girls on Hunger/Poverty. That is the one I have been working pretty hard on, and I think it will be quite good.

I made Italian bread last night, and it is smelling good (I cooked it today). Kneading bread is so nice. Dave comes home from El Paso in a few minutes! Yay! He's been there all week for work. He told me he got some mysterious tasting and looking meat there in the form of a "hamburger." Interesting, eh?

Haha. Good 'ole mystery meat. I've always wanted to take a self defense class. I have my pepper spray and a prayer ready, but it would be nice to know some moves too. ;)
