Today is the kind of day that makes me wish I had a back yard and garden. It is so pleasant outside that I need to find some excuse to stay out there for an extended period of time. It has been this way most of the week and it is so refreshing to be able to wear a sweater!!

Dave has been working like crazy and studying for the CPA exam. I've been trying to cook, keep the house clean, and keep up with my internship. (Trying is the key word) I just finished my rotation with the school district and my next rotation is with the Food Bank. It should be a good rotation.

I can usually tell if it will be a good rotation based on the email response I receive. If they ask about my classes so they can plan my schedule, the rotation will probably be a good one. If they don't respond for a few days, then put something short like: be there at 8, wear non-slip shoes, then I am pretty sure the next three weeks will not be very interesting. Or there are those cases where they don't even respond, and you kind of guess where to go and at what time, and when you get there they say, "I had no idea you were coming!" Anyway, there are many different possible rotation situations.

Tonight is our ward "trunk-or-treat" so I am going to decorate our trunk and hand out candy to the kids. It should be fun--it is nice to get out once in a while and interact with the ward. Tuesday I taught another cake decorating class--this one was on how to make roses, vines, leaves, etc. The people who were there seemed to really enjoy it.

Happy Birthday Yesterday, Grandma A!!!

I know, the weather has been wonderful! I love Winter in Texas- chilly, but not too cold. Your a good wife taking care of so much while David studies. He's lucky to have you.
