Today I taught my primary class about honesty. The kids were pretty shocked when they learned that Ananias and Sapphira (in Acts 5) died on the spot because they were dishonest. The scripture says they "gave up the ghost," and when I asked the class what happened to them, they said, "Uh, they didn't feel good." and I said, "Actually, they DIED." Then they started acting it out. Lol.

These kids LOVE to talk about themselves. I will ask a question and all of their hands will shoot up. They will part-way answer the question and then tell an unrelated story about themselves. It's kind of funny. It seems that many kids just need someone who cares about what they have to say, and someone who will listen.

I get a day off tomorrow because the school district has a student holiday. It will be nice to take time and organize all my internship projects, print things out, start my portfolio, etc. We got a new table and chairs yesterday. I like it. We had a Halloween party last night. It was fun--we played games and I got to meet some of Dave's friends. Now there are ghosts all over our apartment, but not real ones. We dressed as pirates.

I've always wanted to ride in a hot air balloon too. I actually looked it up for the outdoorsy acitivty for the family reunion, but you have to start in Midland or other far away cities to get to South Padre. Bummer.

Hahahaha. "Actually... they DIED." That was very subtle of you. :)
